Welcome to Ages and Stages

The Ages and Stages Theatre Company based at the New Vic Theatre, is about fun, creativity and friendship at every phase of life. We meet to share ideas, discuss topics that are important to us, and develop our theatre making skills so that we can share our stories and our work with a wide range of audiences.

We also exist for people who do not wish to perform but enjoy meeting new people and trying out creative activities in a sociable atmosphere, led by a range of artists and theatre makers. We always welcome new members to our Company, and hope that you will find a relaxed, supportive and exciting place to express yourself and your unique perspective.

We support the National Elders’ Theatre Network which aims to make theatre and creativity more accessible to older adults, and more important and visible to everyone. We take part in network events throughout the year, and greatly value our work with a range of important partners including Elders’ Companies at the Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre, Leeds Playhouse and Coventry Belgrade.
